What to Wear to the Races

Racegoers often prefer to embrace a smarter style when attending the races, however, our favourite dress code is whatever you're comfortable and confident in. Many of our guests choose to dress up for feature race days, adding to the special atmosphere.

Different enclosures may have different dress codes so please do look for information around this when purchasing a ticket or on our dress code page.

Our main goal is to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience with us. As race meetings are primarily outdoor events, we advise all racegoers to consider the weather when selecting attire. If you are attending races throughout summer, we recommend packing your suncream and accessorising with sunglasses and a hat. If you are joining us across the colder months, be sure to wrap up warm! But don’t worry, there are indoor areas where you can stay warm and dry.
