The grand finale of the Betfred St Leger Festival, Doncaster 2026, promises to be an exciting closing day of the festival, and this year is extra special as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the very first running of the Betfred St Leger Stakes, the world’s oldest Classic.

To celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the St Leger, Right Up Our Street, in partnership with Heritage Doncaster and funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, has worked with communities in Rossington and Denaby to create a vibrant collection of horse racing-inspired silk sashes and festival flags. Working with artists Karen Hall and Andy Welland, participants from local schools, care homes and community groups helped create more than 90 unique sashes, alongside four enormous silk flags inspired by their designs. 🖌️
This fantastic collection will be on display at Betfred Sunday Funday, giving racegoers the chance to see this fantastic community artwork in person. 🌟

We’re delighted to have Andy’s Man Club joining us in the Exhibition Hall throughout the day. Andy’s Man Club are a men’s suicide prevention charity that provides free, confidential peer-to-peer support groups across the UK, helping to create welcoming spaces where men can talk openly, share experiences and support one another.

The dress code for the Premier Enclosure is jacket for gentlemen with tie optional and smart attire for ladies. Jeans and sportswear are not permitted in this area. We would also request that children dress smartly when joining us in the Premier Enclosure.
