Round off the Betfred St Leger Festival with Sunday Funday at Doncaster Racecourse on Sunday 12 September 2027. It's a family day out with live horse racing, activities for the kids and plenty of chances to spend time together at the home of the world's oldest Classic.
Bring the family along for a day of racing and activities away from the track. We've also welcomed treasure hunts, colouring and crafts, family arts activities plus many more! The 2027 family entertainment line-up is coming soon, so keep an eye out for updates.
Doncaster's community is a big part of the St Leger Festival. In 2026, racegoers had the chance to see a collection of horse racing-inspired silk sashes and festival flags created by local schools, care homes and community groups in Rossington and Denaby. The project was delivered by Right Up Our Street in partnership with Heritage Doncaster, with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
