The Flat Finale

Competitive racing takes centre stage at Town Moor this Saturday, headlined by the Virgin Bet November Handicap, which celebrates its 150th anniversary as it brings the British Flat racing season to a close. Last year’s winner Castle Cove hasn’t ran since he won the race last season. He returns in search of back-to-back victories, facing a competitive field that includes 2024 winner Lord Melbourne, the promising Alfred Wincham and Nobody Knows, ridden by Ryan Moore. With 23 runners set to battle it out over a mile and a half, the stage is set for a thrilling finale to the Flat season.

Two-Minute-Silence For Remembrance Day

Please join us at 11am in the Parade Ring for an Act of Remembrance, led by HM Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire.

Together, we will observe a two-minute silence to remember and honour the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country, reflecting on their courage, dedication and sacrifice.

Entertainment

Experience a thrilling afternoon of Flat racing at Doncaster Racecourse, with competitive action on the track, live music from Jamie Lee Harrison and a fantastic atmosphere as we bring the Flat season to a close.

Upon arrival, Jamie Lee Harrison brings his uplifting live performance to Doncaster Racecourse. Born and raised in Newcastle, Jamie has established himself as one of the North East’s standout singer-songwriters. Having previously opened for Robbie Williams and performed on the BBC Introducing stage at Kendal Calling, Jamie has shared the stage with big names including Becky Hill and Tom Grennan.

Please note that access to the live entertainment is available exclusively to County, Premier and Hospitality ticket holders for this raceday. The performance will take place upon arrival.

Meet Big Joe Egan

Former heavyweight boxer Joe Egan enjoyed an impressive career in the ring, winning seven Irish titles, recording over 80 victories and becoming a Golden Glove champion. Known for his powerful punches and resilience in the ring, Egan trained alongside boxing legend Mike Tyson, with the pair developing a friendship during their time together at Tyson’s training camp. Egan also faced some of boxing’s biggest names, including Lennox Lewis, before making the move into acting. He went on to appear alongside Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law in Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes films. He will be at Doncaster Racecourse meeting and mingling on the November handicap raising funds for Help for Heroes with the World boxing belts.
