Customer Information during the rail strike
We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to attend this weekend’s racing.
With rail strikes taking place on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday this week, we wanted to outline the transport options in place alongside additional measures to help you get here.
Book your taxi in advance
We do strongly advise you to pre-book your taxis for the end of the evening if required. We recommend Absolute Taxis
Taxi pick up point at the racecourse
The nearest pick up point is by the Grand St Leger Hotel
Plan ahead
We’d recommend you leave extra time to travel to the racecourse. On Saturday 25 June, gates open two hours before the first race at 6.00pm and there’ll be plenty of bars and eateries open from gates open. The last race takes place at 9.00pm. The event will end after the Paloma Faith performance at 11pm.
Plenty of space for parking at the racecourse
If you are driving to the racecourse, please be assured we have plenty of free parking available in Car Park C.
Can leave cars overnight and collect the next day
Cars can be left overnight and collected the following day from the racecourse. Please let the Stewards know when parking that you are leaving your car overnight
Local bus information
On Saturday, shuttle buses from the town centre to the racecourse will run pre and post racing. Tickets cost from £2.00 single, £3.00 return. Please check the Travel South Yorkshire website to help plan your journey.
