ARC and Doncaster Racecourse roared their way to success by scooping an award at the prestigious 10th Annual RCA Awards at Hamilton Park on the 14th November.
Seen as the Oscars amongst UK Racecourses, the 10th annual Showcase & Awards celebrates excellence and rewards innovation from racecourses all across the UK. Racecourses representatives from across the UK were in attendance vying for the coveted awards on offer.
Doncaster Racecourses’ ‘Dinocaster Family Fun Race Day’ was awarded ‘Best Campaign’ at the awards ceremony beating stern competition from popular racecourse campaigns including ‘Magnificent Racehorse’ from The Jockey Club, and ‘480 years in the making: our story continues’ by Chester Racecourse.
On an evening filled with excitement and elation, Emma Rouse, Head of Marketing at Doncaster Racecourse, said: “We are overwhelmed to have achieved Best Campaign at such a prestigious ceremony. Dinocaster is a vibrant multi-channel and above all creative campaign, of which we are incredibly proud, and we are thrilled to see the campaign roll out to a further 5 ARC racecourses. Dinocaster started as a fun idea, and it is fantastic to see the campaign become a wonderful experience enjoyed by tens of thousands of families across the UK.”
Doncaster Racecourse were honoured to share the stage with Pontefract, York, Musselburgh, Hamilton Park, Cheltenham, Salisbury, Ripon, Aintree, Goodwood and Scottish Racing during the evening’s celebrations.
