The UNIBET Lincoln (otherwise known as The Lincoln Handicap) has run at Doncaster since 1965 when it was transferred from Lincoln Racecourse. The race itself has run since 1849 and has had its name altered over the years from the Lincolnshire Handicap to the Lincoln Spring Handicap before becoming The Lincoln Handicap.
Taking place at the end of March/start of April, it places it just before the Grand National, making for an exciting few weeks of betting for avid racegoers. The race is usually the first feature of the British flat racing on turf season and is across 1 mile. Recent winners include Auxerre, Addeybb and Bravery.
