Whilst British Racing continues to take place behind closed doors, we are very pleased that we will be in a position to welcome Owners back for upcoming meetings.
Whislt we appreciate the experience will not be the usual one you are able to experience, we are pleased to be able to offer these steps in the first instance, with the hope that we are able to welcome more Owners, with a full racecourse experience, as soon as possible.

Just to let you know, here at Doncaster we have a dress code of ‘smart dress’ – no denim, shorts, trainers or tracksuits for Gentlemen and no Denim for ladies. Please ensure that all guests adhere to the dress code as they will only receive standard Grandstand admission without access to the Owners Lounge
The Hilton Garden Inn Doncaster Racecourse, as available to all owner who may wish to stay the night before or evening of a race meeting. It currently offers a bed and breakfast offer and bar facilities. Please call 01302 986888 stating that you are attending a Doncaster meeting to benefit from preferential rates.
The bar is open in the hotel and available to owners pre and post -race.
Car Park ‘A’ is located directly opposite the main stand and is the dedicated car park for owners. Please find enclosed car park pass. Please ensure that the pass is forwarded on to all connections as we are unable to refund any parking charges.
Please enter through the main entrance to the Lazarus stand, as per the BHA guidance, we can welcome up to an hour advance of your horse race taking place.
Upon entry, your temperature will be taken and recorded. Should you exhibit a temperature higher than 37.8, we will unfortunately have to request you leave the race course.
*Facilities & Protocols
Owners with runners, will be hosted in the Conduit suite, for the duration of the race day. Access to the parade from the suite is down the steppings with a one-way system in operation, and directional signage to guide you to the amber zone by the parade ring. Along side the parade ring is a connections meeting point allowing you to meet with your trainer and jockey, if required.
Please be mindful of the social distancing guidelines, we respectfully request you follow the 2m rule when both in and outside the property, whilst your guest may belong to your household, the viewing public at home will be unaware of this, and in order to protect the integrity of racing behind closed doors, we ask that all guests and staff on the course respect the 2m distancing.
All owners will be provided with a complimentary lunch, and soft drinks and water. We are unable to offer hot drinks or any alcoholic beverage service, under the racing behind closed doors protocols.
You may be aware Doncaster is now using the new PASS system for the allocation of owners and trainers badges. Please refer to the information from the ROA and the RCA regarding this and the transfer of badges prior to the race day.
It has been brought to our attention that a small number of Owners, Trainers and their representatives have sold/given their badges to ticket touts that operate outside the Racecourse. If these badges were to get into the hands of the wrong people, there could be a serious threat posed to the Racehorses and Connections. Anybody found to be selling/giving their Owners and Trainers badge allocation to ticket touts will be refused entry to the Racecourse and reported to the Racehorse Owners Association and the National Trainers Federation.
Please note that in an effort to reduce fraudulent badge requests, we ask that Owners follow one of the procedures below when applying:
Please Note: Only the person whose badges are being used can leave them, for example the Owner must get in touch to leave their badges for guests. The Trainer cannot leave the owners allocation for guests, the owner must do this themselves and vice versa.
