Betfred St Leger 250 Community Fundraiser

Be part of the 250th anniversary of the Betfred St Leger Stakes and boost your community fundraising effort!

We’re giving 250 community groups and charities the chance to raise funds for their organisations, with our support.

How It Works
1. Buy Your Group Tickets

Register your interest by 10th July to purchase 25 Grandstand tickets for the Betfred St Leger Day on Saturday 12th September 2026 at an exclusive offer price of £15 per ticket (£375 total). Tickets are subject to availability.

2. Sell Your Tickets At A Simple Fundraising Price

Sell each ticket for a minimum of £25 per ticket, and no more than RRP (currently £42.50). This can be done in any way that suits your group, whether through a raffle, a fundraising event, or by promoting them across your social media platforms. Any tickets must be sold and claimed via Doncaster Racecourse by 28th August.

3. Keep Your Profit!

Here’s how the fundraising works:

Cost per ticket: £15

Sale price per ticket: £25

Profit per ticket: £10

Total profit (25 tickets): £250

Ticket Fundraising Initiative – Terms & Conditions

  1. Definitions

In these Terms & Conditions, the following expressions shall have the meanings set out below:

ARC” means Arena Racing Corporation Limited, the parent company of the Company.

Company” means Doncaster Racecourse Management Co Ltd (company number 05206009), being the organiser of this promotion.

Event” means the specified raceday at Doncaster Racecourse to which the Tickets relate.

Organisation” means any charity, community group, or sports team approved by the Company to participate in this promotion.

Promotion” means the fundraising ticket offer described in these Terms & Conditions.

RRP” means the recommended retail price of the Tickets as published on the official website at doncaster-racecourse.co.uk.

Tickets” means the Grandstand admission tickets allocated under this Promotion.

Venue” means Doncaster Racecourse.

Working Day” means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday in England.

This offer is open to registered community groups, sports teams, and charities only. For the purpose of this Promotion we define a community group as an organized, non-profit, and volunteer-led collection of individuals who come together to address common needs, interests, or causes within the local community. Proof of status may be requested.

  1. Eligibility 
    1. This Promotion is open exclusively to non-profit Organisations, including registered charities, community groups, and amateur sports team
    2. For the purposes of this Promotion, a “community group” is defined as an organised, volunteer-led, non-profit group established to support a local community, shared interest, or charitable cause.
    3. The Company reserves the right to request evidence of eligibility (including charity registration, constitution, or equivalent documentation) and to accept or reject applications at its sole discretion

       

  2. Application and Acceptance

    1. Participation is subject to application and approval by the Company.
    2. An Organisation’s participation is confirmed only upon written acceptance by the Company.
    3. The Company reserves the right to refuse any application without providing a reason.

     

  3. Allocation of Tickets

    1. Each approved Organisation will be allocated 25 Tickets.
    2. Ticket allocations are fixed and may not be reduced, divided, or transferred without the Company’s prior written consent.
    3. Tickets are issued solely for the Event and are subject to availability.
    4. Payments are non-refundable except in circumstances set out in Clause 14.
    5. The Company reserves the right to cancel allocations and reallocate Tickets if payment is not received by the deadline.

     

  4. Purchase Price and Payment

    5.1 The Organisation shall purchase all allocated Tickets at a rate of £15 per Ticket (£375 total).

    5.2 Full payment must be received by the deadline specified by the Company.

    5.3 Payments are non-refundable except in circumstances set out in Clause 14.

    5.4 The Company reserves the right to cancel allocations and reallocate Tickets if payment is not received by the deadline.

     

  5. Resale of Tickets
    1. The Organisation may resell Tickets strictly for fundraising purposes.
    2. Tickets must:
      1. Be sold at a minimum price of £25 per Ticket; and
      2. Not exceed the published RRP.
    3. Tickets must not be:
      1. Sold via unauthorised third-party resale platforms;
      2. Auctioned or bundled in a way that circumvents pricing restrictions; or
      3. Used for commercial profit beyond the permitted fundraising activity.

         

  6. Fundraising Income
    1. The Organisation may retain all proceeds above the original purchase price.
    2. Sale of all Tickets at the minimum resale price will generate a minimum fundraising income of £250.
    3. The Organisation is solely responsible for managing, recording, and applying funds raised.

       

  7. Unsold Tickets 

    1. The Organisation accepts full financial liability for all allocated Tickets.
    2. No refunds, exchanges, or credits will be provided for unsold Tickets.
    3. The Company shall not be liable for any losses arising from unsold Tickets.

     

  8. Use of Funds

    1. All funds raised must be used exclusively to support the Organisation’s stated charitable, community, or sporting purposes.
    2. The Company reserves the right to request reasonable evidence of how funds have been applied.

     

  9. Attendee Data and Compliance
    1. By applying for and participating in this Promotion, the Organisation confirms that it has read, understood, and agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full.

       

  10. Release and Delivery of Tickets

    1. Tickets will be issued approximately two (2) weeks prior to the Event, subject to:
      1. Full payment being received; and

     

  11. Event Terms and Venue Rules
    1. All Tickets are subject to the Venue’s standard terms and conditions of entry.
    2. Attendees must comply with all Venue rules, including health and safety requirements.
    3. The Company reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the Venue in accordance with its policies.
  12. Provision of the venue terms and conditions

    1. The Organisation shall ensure that all purchasers and attendees are made aware of, and have access to, the Venue’s applicable terms and conditions of entry. The Organisation must either provide a copy of such terms or clearly direct purchasers to where they can be viewed prior to the Event. The Organisation shall be responsible for ensuring that all attendees acknowledge and agree to comply with the Venue’s terms and conditions.

     

  13. Participation Limit

    1.  This Promotion is limited to 250 Organisations.
    2. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to approval.

     

  14. Event Changes or Cancellation
    1. The Company reserves the right to alter or cancel the Event
    2. In the event of cancellation or material change, the Company may, at its discretion:

      1. Offer alternative tickets; or 

      2. Provide a refund of the Ticket purchase price.

    3. The Company shall not be liable for any additional costs or losses incurred by the Organisation.

       

  15. Liability

    1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for:

      1. Any indirect or consequential loss; 

      2. Loss of profits or fundraising income; 

      3. Loss arising from resale activities; or 

      4. Any acts or omissions of participating Organisations.

    2. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.

     

  16. Right to Amend or Withdraw

    1. The Company reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Promotion at any time.

    2. Where reasonably practicable, the Company will notify Organisations of any material changes to the Promotion.

     

  17. Relationship of the Parties

    1. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions creates any partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the Company and any Organisation.

    2. Organisations act independently and are not authorised to bind the Company in any way.

     

  18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

    1. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

    2. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms.

     

  19. Acceptance

    1. By applying for and participating in this Promotion, the Organisation confirms that it has read, understood, and agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full.
