There are a multitude of ways to travel to Doncaster Racecourse. When we asked Mike Parcej, a friend of the racecourse and passionate horse racing fan, here's what he had to say:

"Easy access with both the London to Edinburgh, and Plymouth to Newcastle services crossing at the railway station. Arguably the easiest racecourse anywhere in the UK to get to by train from everywhere. The Frenchgate Interchange means all you need to do is walk to the left of the station concourse, up the escalator then down the other side into the bus station. From Stand B3, the bus numbers 21, 25, 29, 98 and 99 all stop by the racecourse, at Belle Vue, Booth Avenue/Gliwice Way. These buses all run seven days a week, every 15 minutes."

By Car

Doncaster racecourse boasts excellent links to the motorway network including M1 (junction 32), M18 (junction 3/4), A1M (junction 36) and the M62.

On racedays*, Car Park A (opposite the main stand) is reserved for Annual Members, Owners and Trainers, Jockeys, BHA, Sponsors, Hospitality Guests, Press and Blue Badge holders. Please show your permit/ticket/ID to gain entry to Car Park A. Car Park C (next to the Family Enclosure) is available to all our guests free of charge. Please follow the yellow road signage to direct you to the correct car park.

*Prices may vary during the Betfred St Leger Festival.

By Bus

We have a Shuttle Service running on between the Racecourse and Doncaster Interchange (Train Station) for all race meetings. This bus does not run for our non-racing events such as Fireworks. It will commence from the Interchange at approximately the time of our gate opening and continue until approximately 30 minutes before our first race. The return journey (which will stop at a designated point on sound of the bell) will start just after the penultimate race, and continue until approximately one hour after the last race. If there is entertainment following racing the service will continue until this has finished.

Shuttle Bus information is subject to change and may be amended or withdrawn without prior notice. From £3.00 single, £5.00 return. Please check the Travel South Yorkshire website.
