Mark your calendars for a blast from the past as Doncaster Racecourse's Summer Saturday Series presents the Summer Anthems Raceday featuring Chris Moyles on Saturday 1 June. Join us for a day of thrilling horse racing and dancefloor hits as the radio legend transports you on a journey through time.
On the hunt for fun things to do in Doncaster in June? This race day will have you getting your groove on! It’s a peak guys day out if you’re looking for ideas to celebrate a birthday or stag do.
A Summer Saturday raceday isn't just thrills on the track. It also offers a packed selection of delish dishes and drinks, along with lightheated, live entertainment.
Prepare to be taken on a nostalgic journey as DJ Chris Moyles hits the stage to deliver all your favorite anthems. From Britpop to dancefloor classics, get ready to dance the night away to a mix of tracks from throughout the decades.
As well as the racing and music, we are also screening the famous Epsom Derby live from 16:30, ensuring you don't miss any of the racing action. We combine a live music performance with an action packed day of racing alongside an on course screening of the fourth classic of the season.
The Derby is the last classic before the St Leger and is the second leg in the triple crown usually contested by three year old colts.
Former professional footballer Alan Kennedy made over 500 appearances across his career, as well as representing his country, plying his trade for teams across Europe - most notably Newcastle United & Liverpool. The most successful stint with Kennedy’s career was his time with Liverpool FC, in which he was part of the successful 1981 and 1984 European Cup winning teams, scoring in both finals. Make sure you stop by the Exhibition Hall for some great photo opportunities!
1st June which is the European Cup Finals day. Alan won the cup twice including the 1984 final which marks the 40 year anniversary and scored the winning goal!
Tickets for our Summer Saturday racedays are on sale now. Coming racing with the whole squad? If you book for four people you can get an extra 10% off, for 10 people you get an extra 15% off and for 20 people you get a huge 20% extra off.

Children 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
