On one day only, Friday 9th September 2011, racing of the highest quality will be complimented by one of Yorkshires finest dining experiences as long standing Michelin Star Chef Tessa Bramley creates a unique opportunity at this year's Ladbrokes St Leger Festival.

The entire team from The Old Vicarage restaurant near Sheffield will be re-creating the ultimate exclusive Hospitality experience within 'Silks Restaurant', the former 'Weighing Room' at the course, a stunning restored period building adorned with saddle racks and famous racing silks.

Guests will enjoy innovative cooking from internationally recognised, award-winning chef Tessa Bramley whose creative menus are grounded in nature and evocative of the seasons; proper food, cooked properly with discretion yet flair.

Tessa is the holder of a coveted Michelin Star, one of only 5 female chefs in the UK to do so. A testament to her progressive cooking style is that she has held her star for over a decade and is the most long standing member of that elite group. Her restaurant, The Old Vicarage has been ranked in the top 40 restaurants in the UK for over 20 years by The Good Food Guide.

'The Vicarage' team will ensure that guests experience a supreme standard of table service and professional hosting by liveried staff, with dedicated waiter service for the drinks, with Champagne & fine wines available for our guests to match the food offering, which will be sourced through Vicarage Wine Cellars. Guests will benefit from a dedicated drop off point & entrance to the Racecourse, and will enjoy a private Champagne and Canapés reception area followed by sumptuous cuisine and fine wine selections. A visiting tipster and table service tote betting will provide racing enthusiasts with everything they need within the surrounds of The Platinum Club.

Tessa Bramley, proprietor of The Old Vicarage, said "This is the perfect recipe for me, having my Michelin chefs at the oldest classic race meeting in the world. Diners will enjoy the full Michelin experience, the finest local produce prepared and cooked by me and my team during one of Yorkshire's key sporting and social occasions. I am delighted to be working with the team at Doncaster Racecourse and am very much looking forward to being part of the Festival."
