Should I purchase tickets from Ticket Touts outside the racecourse?
To ensure that your entry to Doncaster Racecourse is quick and easy we strongly advise that you do not purchase tickets from touts at the racecourse. Doncaster Racecourse entry tickets are bar coded for security purposes, all tickets that have been cancelled/lost/replaced for any reason will be rejected by the system and you will unfortunately be refused entry at the ticket turnstiles.
What time do the gates open on a race day?
The gates are generally opened two hours before the first race is scheduled to begin on a race day. For Corporate Hospitality guests there may be alternative arrangements made by your event organiser, you may need to check with them for any changes in timings for your arrival. Can I bring alcohol into the racecourse?
Alcohol cannot be brought into the racecourse at any time. You will be asked to dispose of any alcohol before you are allowed entry to the racecourse.
What is Challenge 21?
Doncaster Racecourse operates under the Challenge 21 rules. Please remember that if you are 21 and lucky enough to look younger you should carry identification with you as you will be asked to prove that you are over 18 when attempting to buy alcohol. If you are unable to prove that you are over 18 and attempt to purchase alcohol you will be asked to leave the racecourse premises. If in doubt, bring your I.D.
Is Doncaster Racecourse suitable for families and children?
At all meetings, Doncaster provides a real value-for-money family day out. Under 16's can gain free entry to the any of the enclosures when accompanied by an adult (a maximum of 3 children per paying adult), proof of age may be requested. Tickets for children can only be obtained on the gate at the time of entry with your child (subject to availability). On certain days, as well as the attraction of superb racing, Doncaster also provides a variety of entertainment and attractions to appeal to all ages - from jazz bands to jugglers, face painting to fairground rides and the appearance of current favourite TV characters.

May I bring a picnic?
Picnics are only permitted into the Family Enclosure at the Racecourse. Please note that alcohol may not be brought into any area of the Racecourse.
May I take photographs?
At all meetings we ask you
to ensure that no flash photography takes place near the horses.
Otherwise you are welcome to take photographs in all other areas
for personal non-commercial use only.
Note: Professional filming and photography takes
place here at Doncaster for various publications and broadcasting
and race goers (including families) consent to being filmed,
photographed and otherwise recorded by Doncaster Racecourse
Management Company Limited (DRMCL) or any third party authorised by
DRMCL. You grant DRMCL and any third party authorised by DRMCL the
right to broadcast, publish, licence and use any photographs, film,
recordings or images of you without payment or other compensation
in any promotional literature produced by DRMCL. Full copies of our

Are there any Discounts or can I make a Group Booking?
When booking 10 tickets or more in the Grandstand or Family enclosure (discount only applies when booking all of the same enclosure) you will receive 20% off the overall ticket value. Your coach driver will also receive free entry into the Family Enclosure and Free Parking. This discount is not in conjunction with any other offer and does not include the internet discount price.
For every ticket purchased via the internet we offer a £2 discount off the normal enclosure price when booking County, and a £1 discount off Grandstand or Family Enclosure tickets.
Do I need a race card?
A race card is an essential tool to guide you through your day. It provides details on all of the races, horses' and jockeys', as well as features and information about Doncaster Racecourse. A race card costs £2.50 and is available on the day from designated points in all enclosures. However on some of the premium days the cost may rise to £3.00.
Are there facilities for those with special needs?
Doncaster Racecourse provides an accessible environment for all of our race goers, including older people, people with disabilities and those with young children. Our 'Access for All' policy includes provision of parking spaces for people with access difficulties, designated viewing areas. We are happy to make special arrangements in advance and to assist with any queries on the day of the race meeting.
Can I bring my dog into the racecourse?
No dogs are allowed on the racecourse site with the exception of
trained 'Seeing' or 'Hearing' dogs.
Where can I arrange to meet friends?
Once inside the Racecourse, the Main Reception Area, the Parade
Ring or the Double Trigger Statue are all convenient
'landmark' meeting points.
Is there a cash point at the
Racecourse?
Yes, we have five cash points, all located at Ground Floor Level.
Two located in the main betting hall of the Grandstand Enclosure
and two located in the County Enclosure close to the main entrance
and one in the Family Enclosure positioned in the Silver Patriarch
Bar. During the St. Leger Festival additional cash points will also
be available.

When should I book for the St. Leger Festival 2010?
St. Leger ticket sales for 2010 will go on sale on Monday 1st
February 2010. TicketsCustomers are encouraged to book early for
the St Leger and all of our fixtures to avoid disappointment as
demand for tickets for our busy meetings are always extremely high.
What Hospitality Packages are available and when can I
book?
We have a number of restaurants and private boxes available for
hospitality at the racecourse, full details of our hospitality

Doncaster Racecourse is a stunning venue for all types of parties and celebrations, with a great choice of restaurants and locations within the course. 'Silks' Champagne & Seafood Restaurant and Bar is the most exquisite location for a civil wedding and reception or celebration party.
